Tomorrow Sony Europe will drop an update in the PlayStation Store for the PSP Slim&Lite that willa llow you to use an instant messenger like AIM or MSN on your PlayStation Portable. Go!Messenger allows you to do text chatting and video chats with the Go!Cam for the PSP.

Sony modifying the PSP Slim&Lite’s hardware

Sony has taken a patent to change the inside parts of the PlayStation Portable Slim&Lite. This new patent doesn’t mean Sony is working on the PSP 2, the only reason they took this patent is that they want to make the production of the PSP-2000 cheaper by updating some of the hardware inside. Thanks to this newer and cheaper technology Sony will be able to make the PSP Slim and Lite a little cheaper. Let’s hope this means a pricedrop for the PSP Slim!
