Patapon is another weird and colorful game for the Sony PSP Slim and Lite. Sony announced the game during their E3 2007 press conference but since then we haven’t heard anything about the game. It looks a bit like LocoRoco, not only because of the graphical style but also because of the weird concept. Different combinations of beats instruct the Patapons on where they have to head to. Patapons also have to attack other stuff and protect themselves from danger. We hope to see more footage of Patapon at the Tokyo Game Show.
A 1UP member found at that Dracula X Chronicles could be the very first and last Castlevania game for the Sony PSP Slim&Lite handheld. Koji Igarashi knows that the PSP Slimline is a good platform to develop a Castlevania game for, but the market has been shrinking so he hopes that the PSP Slim&Litewill gain some popularity.
On the official Sony PlayStation forums there used to be a section where PSP gamers could talk about homebrew on the Sony PSP, but now that the new redesigned PSP Slim&Lite is out Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that it’s locking down the PSP homebrew subforum. A while ago gamers had the chance to subscribe for a UMD with a free God of War: Chains of Olympus demo. Good news for those who didn’t catch the UMD, soon that very same demo will be downloadable on the God of War website. Too bad we don’t have a clue on when we can expect the online downloadble God of War
