This Autumn a new update for the PSP will allow us to download demo’s from the PlayStation Store straight to our handhelds. You will be able to play PlayStation PSP demo’s without downloading the demo’s first to your PC or PlayStation 3. Another new feature will be the possibility to play PSP-games on your PlayStation 3. In Japan Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG will be the first game that you can play on your PlayStation 3.

More and more rumors are popping up saying that Sony has a new PlayStation Portable ready for launch. The PSP-3000 is said to be an even slicker version of the popular PSP with a built-in microphone and phone options. Now we have some new amateur pictures of the rumored PSP-3000 with a mysterious PlayStation-button similar to the one on the PS3-controller and the looks of the handheld are very slick. The new PSP Slim&Lite from Sony has been on the market for about one year now and some sources say that Sony has a new version of its PlayStation Portable in production. The PSP-3000 will have phone capabilities, but so far Sony hasn’t announced anything yet.
