Sony has released a smaller PSP Firmware update coded 3.73. You can download this new PSP system software now via Network Update. The only thing it does is that it improves the operation of the UMD drive to adress cases in which the UMD drive occasionally suspends and fails to reload data. Updating to Firmware 3.73 should kill this failure.
Earlier this week Sony announced a longer life PSP battery. This new PlayStation Portable battery will last 11 hours but the bad thing about this battery is its size.
