PSP Slim&Lite videoreviews

Today we’ve gathered a few more interesting videoreviews, unboxing videos and impressions of the new Sony PSP Slim&Lite. Looks like a lot of gamers managed to find the Piano Black 3.60 PSP-2000 in stores this week. The black PSP Slimline is really shiny, it looks a lot better than the old black PSP. There’s also a video of a younger gamer from Europe unboxing his PSP, enjoy!


Play-Asia has opened the pre-orders for the new Media Case Portable 8 for Sony’s PSP Slim&Lite. This trendy UMD case will be available October 17th and ships for only $6,99. We’re still expecting more info from this new PSP accessory but so far it looks like an awesome UMD case for the new PSP-2000!

PSP Light, PSP-2000, PSP2K, PSP Slimline, PSP Memory Stick Entertainment Packs

Sony will soon release two new Memory Stick Entertainment Packs for the new Sony PlayStation Portable Slim&Lite. These Entertainment bundles contain a 2GB and 4GB memory stick equiped with a DVD launcher with four Sony Pictures movies on it. When you connect these launchers with your PC, you can place one of the four movies on your PSP Memory Stick. All movies are secured with an unlock code in case someone would be trying to watch the movies on other devices than the PSP. You can also watch these movies on your PlayStation 3 console with a resolution of 720×480. As far as we know now these four movies are Click, Ghost Rider, RV and Stomp the Yard. Both Entertainment Packs will be available for $55 (2GB version) and $90 (4GB version).


More than 320,000 PSP Slim&Lite’s sold in Japan

PlayStation Portable, PSP, Sony, PSP Slim and Lite, PSP Slim&LiteEnterbrain now has more specific sales numbers of the new PSP-2000 coming from Japan. During its first three days on the Japanese market the new PSP Slim&Lite sold 250,702 units, but we have to add the 75,943 Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII bundles as well giving us a total of 326,645 for Japan alone in only 72 hours. The PSP isn’t dead yet and it will be the hottest product of this year’s Christmas. Get it now while it’s still available, especially the Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII PSP bundle.

New Japanese PSP Slim&Lite TV commercials

The new Sony PSP Slim&Lite is the hottest gameconsole in Japan at this moment. Last week we had a couple of cool Japanese PSP Slim&Lite TV commercials and today Sony broadcasted two new TV commercials to promote the PSP-2000. They’re really nice ads and they show the different unique features of the new PSP Slimline.

A new week means new gamereleases for Sony’s PlayStation Portable Slim&Lite! Fans of basketball will be happy to hear that Electronic Art’s NBA 08 is releasing this week in the US. Europe will be happy to receive FIFA 08 in their PSP and they’re also getting Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars, Ratatouille, SEGA Rally and Coded Arms Contagion. It must be nice being a European gamer this week!
